Benefits of Membership:

Networking with other pastel artists and supporters of pastel in and around the state of New Hampshire, and promoting, sharing and learning about the pastel medium in a creative environment. Quarterly newsletter, which is full of information about pastels, exhibits, workshops, grant opportunities, Society news and member's news. Quarterly Membership meetings, which include demonstrations, guest speakers, critique sessions, painting workshops, and discussions of art-related topics. Exhibition opportunities in an annual Members Show and an annual Juried Exhibition. Showcase of Members pastel paintings on our Website, displaying two works per artist. Member's discount on Workshops given by nationally recognized pastel artists. Links to other pastel societies and their members through membership in the International Association of Pastel Societies. Memberships are for one year and run through the calendar year (January 1 - December 31).
 

Artist Spotlights:

Members wishing to be featured in our Artist Spotlight need to submit the following to our social media maven:

• Artist's Statement - maximum 75 words

• Biography - maximum 200 words

• Attach four jpeg pastel pictures: 72 dpi (dots per inch), maximum 600 pixels on the longest side. Please ID with your name and title of painting (Ex: Doe_Jane_Mountain_Vista.jpg)

• Send to Social Media Poster: Terri Brooks

• Selection will be made to one member at a time on a first-come basis. Web site address may be included.
   

Dues:

Dues for 2024 are currently determined to be:

• $40 for Individual

• $50 for Sponsor

• $100 for Patron

• $500 for Benefactor and

• $1,000 for Saint status.

Any dues paid after November 15 will be applied to the following year. Members will receive renewal email reminders in December and February. Member privileges will be dropped after March 1 if dues are not received. Upon payment, member privileges will be reinstated. Anyone needing an exception can request such approval from the  Board President.

To join or renew your membership you may do one of the following.

1. PAY ONLINE at the new PSNH Store. If you're new, we need you to fill out the PSNH Membership Registration or, if renewing but your information needs to be updated, please send an Updated Membership form to mffsmith@gmail.com

​2. PAY BY CHECK. Send the Membership form and a check made out to Pastel Society of New Hampshire (PSNH) to Maggie Smith, 41 Aiken Rd., Putney, VT 05346
