PSNH Biennial Retreat
As part of your membership, we aim to provide opportunities that will both enrich and enlighten your pastel pursuits. From plein-air paint outs in and around the beautiful state of NH & greater New England to technique demos to seeking out people to guest lecture on pertinent topics.

PSNH presents our first biennial Member’s Retreat!
We will hold our first member’s retreat June 21-24 in Jackson NH. We will hold our retreats every other year on the years when there is no IAPS convention.
This year’s retreat will be held in beautiful Jackson NH. Our host will be the Wildcat Inn and Tavern. Our accommodations will be the Igloo, a free standing cottage on the premises of the Wildcat Inn. Feel free to take a peek on their website. We will check in on the afternoon of Of Wednesday June 21 and check out Saturday morning June 24. Our plans include plenty of plein air painting. There are many beautiful spots in walking distance or a short drive. Lisa Regopoulous has offered to do a demo at Jackson Falls. At the same time we will be there, Melanie Levitt of Jackson Art Studio and Gallery will be hosting Kathie Odom, a renowned plein air oil painter during the same time, we will have a get together with her group. Erik Koeppel, another nationally recognized plein air painter has agreed to meet us at the Jackson Historical Society to do a show and tell of his work. The Jackson Historical Society specializes in artworks of the White Mountain School and Hudson River Valley Artists. They will be having a show of women artists of the 19th and early 20th century at that time. So, we will have plenty to do and see.
The Wildcat Tavern has graciously offered their dining room to paint in if there should be inclement weather. They also have an outdoor patio for having critiques. The cost of this event is $250 per person. This does not include the cost of food. There are many fine restaurants in the area of varying price ranges. There is a small kitchen in the Igloo for us to use as well.
Let’s have a great time together! Sign up soon to reserve your space. (Sign up is located in the SHOP!)
