Paula Dorr of Grantham, NH is exhibiting her pastel work with friend Karen Gouchberg of Killington, VT. at the Quechee Inn at Marshland Farms in Quechee, VT.  Their exhibition runs from uly 9th through August 12th with a reception on Sunday, July 11th from 3 to 5 PM.
 
Judith B J Totman is one of the artists featured at the Kittery Art Association show titled "Jewels in the Stream". Judith's work accompanies poetry by Elizabeth Kirschner. The show runs until July 18th (Th  3-6 PM, Sat  12-6 PM & Sun 12-5 PM)
 
New member Dianne Taylor Moore from Littleton NH is following her PSNH award with a merit award in the Pastel Painters of Maine exhibit in Kennebunk, Me. The show runs through June at the Brick Store Museum.
 
Two of Linda Dessaint's paintings are in the Stonewall Farm Seventh Annual Juried Art Auction in Keene, VT. The reception is Friday, April 9th from 5 to 7 PM at the Learning Center. The Gala and Art Auction is May 8th from 6 to 10 PM. Tickets are $40.00 per person and may be reserved by call 603-357-7278.

Additionaly, three of Linda's painting will be featured in the WCA's Juried Spring Exhibit, "Twist of Lyme" which runs from May 1 to the 22nd.

 
2009
 
Barbara Danser's work featuring her Southwest pastel and oil paintings in conjunction with her turquoise necklace designs are on exhibit at the  Jaffrey Civic Center in Jaffrey, NH from November 13th through December 18th.
 

Carol Corlis received Third Place in the Pastel Division for her painting titled "Overlooking the Farm" at the Art in the Park sponsored by the Monadnock Area Artists Association.


 
  Donna Rossetti-Bailey, of Marshfield, MA, has recently had her soft pastel paintings juried into several national and international exhibits. “Last Light at Chandler’s Bog” was selected for the Renaissance in Pastel 2009 16th Annual National Exhibition, sponsored by the Connecticut Pastel Society.
“Bridge Street Reflections” and “Marsh Ribbon” were exhibited in The Pastel Society of New Hampshire's "It’s Pastel! Juried National Show" at the Portsmouth Center Gallery, Portsmouth, NH.
Her painting titled “Heading In” was juried into the Richeson 75: International Landscape, Seascape and Architectural Art Competition 2009 Exhibition. This painting, along with “Pink Sky Reflections” and “World’s End Trees” will also be published in the Richeson 2009 Exhibit Book.
In addition, Donna's work was chosen for the International Association of Pastel Societies 14th Exhibition 2009 Web Show, which will be on the IAPS website: www.pastelinternational.com this fall. 
Donna’s pastel paintings will be featured in the Kennedy Publications Best of America Pastel II, which is currently being published and will be available in late 2009.
 
 
Wolfgang Ertl's solo exhibition titled "Landscapes in Pastel and Oil" is featured at the York Public Library, in the Kennebunk Room, from August 28 to November 3, 2009.
 

Carol Corliss' pastel painting "Lake Champlain Sunset"  was selected to be in the new book The Art of Lake Champlain to benefit the Lake Champlain Land Trust. 


Wolfgang Ertl -  Sixteen paintings are on exhibition in a small group show titled "Five Visions" at the Kittery Art Association from June 25 through July 19.

His pastel "October Blue 2" is currently on exhibit at the NH Art Association sponsored Prescott Park Arts Festival Open Juried Exhibition in Portsmouth.
His pastel "Sea Grass in Evening Light" was juried into the NH Art Association's Omer T. Lassonde Exhibition, Art is Alive and Kickin during the month of May at the Lincoln Levy Gallery in Portsmouth.
"October Blue" was juried into the Pastel Painters of Maine's Tenth Annual International Exhibition from June 5 through 28 at the Saco Museum.

Judith Totman received Third in Show by the NH Art Association sponsored Prescott Park Arts Festival Open Juried Exhibition in Portsmouth, NH. The show runs from June 27 through August 23.


Alicia Geilenberg-Drakiotes' painting "Autumn Retreat" was juried into the 5th Annual National Northeast Pastel Exhibition at the Arts Center in Old Forge, NY. Show dates June 13 through July 12.


Barbara Scott's painting titled "A Glimpse of Ogunquit" was juried into the NH Art Association sponsored Prescott Park Arts Festival Open Juried Exhibition in Portsmouth, NH. The show runs from June 27 through August 23. In addition her worked was exhibited from May 22 - June 14th  at the 12th Annual NAA Regional Juried Show in Newburyport, MA.


Lisa Regopoulos' painting titled "Fields of Flavor" was accepted into the Pastel Painters of Maine 10th International Juried Show at the Saco Museum, in Saco, Maine. The show runs until June 28th.


 

Carol Corliss exhibited her original pastels at the Jaffrey Civic Center, Jaffrey NH from April 1st through April 15th.


 

Jeanne McKinney is featured in the Special Artists Gallery at the Bellefonte Museum for Centre County, PA. from March 8 through May 31st. Website www.BellefonteMuseum.org.


 

Marsha Blakeman's is a featured artist in a show titled, "Waterways...Frozen to Flowering" at the East Colony Fine Art Gallery in Manchester. A reception will take place at the gallery on April 17th from 5 to 8 PM .


 

Judy Doughty won First Place in the American Mothers Cultural Arts Exhibit in Bedford, NH.

During the month of February, Judy also exhibited her work in a solo show at the Epsom Public Library.



 

Judith Totman received Best in Show for her painting titled "Stampede 5" at the Pastel Painters of Maine Annual Member Exhibit in Kenneybunk, ME.



 

Robert Carsten's pastel, "Nascent" was juried into the Biennial Regional Exhibition on Friday, January 23rd, 2009 at the Throne-Sagendorph Gallery at Keene State College. The show opens Friday, January 23 with a reception from 5:30 to 7:30 PM and will run until February 21st, 2009.

Barbara Adams was awarded third place for her painting "Tranquility" in the Pastel Painters of Maine Member's Exhibit Show this past December, 2008.


Suzanne deLesseps received the Heilman Designs Award for her painting "Tree Breeze" in the Pastel Painters of Maine 9th International Juried Exhibition "For Pastels Only" held at the Chocolate Church Arts Center, Bath, Maine.


 

Linda Dessant won an honorable mention award for "Serenity" at the 50th Anniversary Art in the Park, Keene, New Hampshire.

 


 

Robin  Nuse is having a solo show of large format pastels at Southern Vermont Arts Center in Manchester, Vermont, through December 2, 2008.

 


 

Susan Parmenter won a CPS Award for her pastel "Girl With Black Cat" (a.k.a. Holly and Dakota) at the 22nd Annual Connecticut Pastel Society Members Show held at Gallery 53 in Meriden, Connecticut. Also, Susan's pastel "Bowl With Apples" was accepted into the 36th annual Pastel Society of America open juried "For Pastels Only" exhibition, held at the National Arts Club in NYC, and won the "Art Times Journal" award.

Suzanne Payne received an Honorable Mention for her pastel "Hathaway Farm" at the Kennebunk River Club's 52nd Annual Art Exhibit.
